Our family member received amazing nursing care from Altra Private Nursing. From the moment we met with Shannon and the nurses, we felt supported by their dedication, compassion,  understanding and kindness. Professional, highly skilled nursing care at home during a difficult time was made possible with Shannon's commitment.  Our family member was always comfortable, safe and treated with compassion. Working for Shannon at Altra Private Nursing has been one of the best experiences of my nursing career. Shannon is truly an incredible boss — supportive, compassionate, professional, and deeply dedicated to both her staff and her clients. I have seen first hand the level of care, attention, and advocacy she provides every single day. She goes above and beyond to ensure her clients receive not only excellent clinical care, but also kindness, dignity, and genuine compassion. Her dedication never goes unnoticed. Shannon creates a positive and respectful work environment where staff feel valued and supported. She leads by example and always puts both her clients and employees first. It is rare to find someone so committed, hardworking, and caring in this field. I am extremely grateful to have worked under her leadership and would highly recommend Shannon and Altra Private Nursing to anyone looking for any kind of care - May it be short, long, hospice or med reconciliation. I wanted to say that the care provided by Shannon to my father in his last days was exemplary!  Shannon showed my dad care, compassion, and humor at a time which was full of sadness.  Some days, he did not want her around (grumpy older man , lol) …but she persevered and pushed on with her cheerfulness and got him to enjoy her visits.  She was with my dad when he passed away and for that I am so grateful!  He was in extraordinary hands!  Thank you Shannon ! Altra home healthcare were a blessing to my family and I during a very difficult time , they treated my Dad like he was their own from the beginning all the way through Hospice care . Their experience and knowledge were amazing I will never forget the support , kindness and care for my entire family that we received. It was a blessing to have Altra Homecare   come to our home and help care for my dad after a stay in hospital . They provided exceptional medical care but also offered emotional support for my entire family . There follow through was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate knowledgeable and skilled team . Shannon and Orla went above and beyond not just for my dad but for everyone in my family . Taking care of my dad was a difficult task as my mom who suffered from dementia made their job a little bit more complicated . The grace and kindness they showed my mom was amazing all the while caring for my dad they didn’t miss a beat . I truly believe my dad is thriving because of the exceptional care given to him . The guidance we received was second to none . Their dedication, professionalism, and kindness made a very stressful and difficult time more manageable.
